RIDING LESSONS

How do you get started? When signing up for our booking system, you will be approved as a lead rein (beginner) rider. If you have had previous experience are not a beginner, you will need to book any private lesson and then, when you receive your confirmation email, reply to it asking for your lesson to be an assessment. After the assessment lesson, we will assign you the correct level. Our different lessons options are below. To book, please sign up to our booking system (link below), add a rider profile and then you're good to go!
We offer discounts for bulk lesson purchases - Details can be found on the booking system or on our promotions page.
Lesson options
Here at Lower Morden Equestrian Centre, we offer a wide range of lessons for all ages and abilities. You can find details of the different lessons we offer below and our flexible booking options allow you to change between the options freely to fit around your schedule.

Group Lessons
Our group lessons are a very popular way to learn. They are 45 minute lessons and groups are split into four abilities; Lead rein (beginner), Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4. You are welcome to switch between different groups each week as long as they are the right level for you. A full timetable is available on the booking system once registered. Price is £30 for a weekday and £32 for a weekend per lesson. Bulk discounts available.
Private Lessons
If you're looking for a more one to one experience, private lessons are for you! They are £40 on weekdays and £45 on weekends for a 30 minute lesson and we run them from 10am - 8pm every weekday (except Tuesday) and 9am - 5pm every weekend. All slots are available to book online. It is also possible to do 30 minute and 45 minute jump lessons jump lessons but you will need to call us to arrange them. Prices are available on our full price list above.
Semi-Private Lessons
Semi-private lessons are for two people to ride together. There are some options for these online but if you call us on 0203 355 0407 it is possible to turn almost any private lesson into a semi-private lesson. Riders do need to be of similar abilities. Prices are shown on our price list above.
Walkouts
For those looking for a riding experience that isn't a lesson or for those who are nervous and want their first introduction to horses. You get a 30 minute ride on a horse, walking on the quiet lanes nears the equestrian centre led by an instructor. Its slow paced and good for those who are nervous!
